Call: (208) 488-0505
Carly began Irish Dancing at the age of six in Boise, Idaho under the direction of Terry Jung & Bella Yerina, TCRG from the O'Connor School of Irish Dance.
Over the years the school went through some changes and became the Treasure Valley Academy of Irish Dance. Her family was actively involved in creating the first annual Boise Feis in 1999 through 2005.
Carly first started competing at age 8 and has gone on to compete all across the United States & Canada. Her accomplishments have been competing as an Open Champion dancer with high rankings at Regional's and North America Nationals in both solo's and team dancing and becoming a multi-World Qualifier enabling her to compete in the World Irish Dance Championships and the All-Ireland Championships in Ireland.
Carly began student teaching at age 11 for Treasure Valley Academy realizing her love for teaching, she knew at that point she wanted to open her own school in the Boise Valley. She continued dancing and teaching with other TCRG's who eventually took over the local dance school in the Boise area. Realizing her goals of wanting to compete in the World Championships in Irish Dance she decided to train out of state with the Claddagh Dance Company and experienced a higher level of training enabling her to grow as a dancer & as a person. Creating a lifelong mentor in Maire O'Connell, TCRG/ADCRG of Claddagh Irish Dance Company.
She has also had the privilege to dance in Concert
with some renown Celtic Artists, including Gaelic Storm, The Chieftains, Natalie McMaster, & Eileen Ivers.
Carly passed her TCRG in 2011 and is now a registered teacher through the An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha of Ireland. Carly is also a certified group fitness technician/instructor through the ACE.
